Attorney Andrew M. Rich, P.C.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Oregon State University in 1973. I graduated from the Lewis and Clark Law School with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1977.
Upon passing the Oregon bar exam in 1977, I immediately went to work for Huffman & Zenger in Hillsboro, Oregon. In 1983, I became a shareholder in the firm which continues today as Andrew M. Rich, P.C.
For many years, most of practice was devoted to litigation. As a trial lawyer, I have been involved in many major cases both as trial lawyer and appellate counsel. I have developed close relationships with many judges and courthouse staff.
Since the early 1990s, my areas of practice have been limited to elder law issues including estate planning, trusts, probate, administration of estates upon death, guardianships, conservatorships, and will contests.
Susan A. Marshall, Legal Assistant
Susan has worked in the legal community for 39 years, beginning in 1964 as a secretary to Schwenn and Bradley. She spent 19 years as a legal assistant to Bill Schwenn, and upon his retirment in 1994, she became a legal assistant for Huffman, Zenger & Rich, where she worked primarily for Ken Zenger. Since Ken's retirement, she has worked as my legal assistant.
Susan is a competent and knowledgeable professional who performs many important functions. She manages the office, but she also drafts documents, presents orders and judgments for signature, and completes many tasks that would otherwise occupy my time. Her skill and experience as a legal assistant allows me to offer many services for less than they might otherwise cost.
