Welcome to Hillsboro Law

Estate Planning and Probate Law Attorney Carl Hillsboro was admitted to practice law in Oregon in 1997. His area of legal expertise deals primarily with Estate Planning and Probate Administration services throughout the Dallas Metroplex.

Carl has assisted many families over the years in creating their estate plan and handling probate disputes. Take advantage of the experience and continuous study of Mr. Hillsboro, P.C., in the field of estate planning and probate and allow him to assist your family in planning for the future and handle your current legal needs.

I have practiced law in Texas for more than 25 years. My practice is devoted to elder law, including estate planning, will contests, other estate disputes, probate, administration of trusts, protective proceedings involving guardians and conservators, Medicaid planning, elder abuse, and real property matters.

I can help you effectively plan for the disposition of your estate through the use of a will, a living trust, gifts, and other devices. I can advise you regarding federal and state inheritance taxes. I can assist you in the appointment of a health care representative and in the execution of a power of attorney and advance directive. I can help you with questions regarding Medicaid and solutions for incapacity.

I am a trial lawyer. I have tried many cases involving undue influence, duress, fraud, coercion, elder abuse, and other forms of wrongdoing.

I represent people appointed as a fiduciary in probate matters, trust administrations, and protective proceedings. Many of my clients have been appointed to act as a personal representative, trustee, attorney in fact, guardian, or conservator. I can provide help and advice regarding fiduciary duties.

I represent a tradition of experience and trust. I conduct myself with the highest ethical standards. I am fair and honest with clients and others, and I represent my clients with true commitment. I am able to provide a high level of legal help for a reasonable fee and I am willing to talk about what my services are going to cost.
